About Antiphonic
History
Antiphonic was concieved in December 2005 and opened its doors February 2, 2006. The company started out as a leading source in electronic music but from May 13th to June 8th, less than one month's time, made a tremendous expanse into dozens of other genres by adding hundreds of independent and hard-to-find titles to its online catalog.
On July 6, 2006 the purchase of the company Christian Vinyl was finalized and the store grew even more.
On September 1, 2006 Antiphonic merged with Christian electronic pop label Greenhorn Records, a sister company formed in 2003. Greenhorn became the label side of the company while Antiphonic works as the distribution partner.
On September 8th Antiphonic moved to a more powerful server in order to support the housing and downloading of the 7,000+ audio clips made available throughout the store.
On March 2, 2007 Antiphonic officially announced the new upcoming MP3 store which is slated to open "soon".
